As you might know I have a thing for houses. Here is the new house cushion I've been working on. It seems this Spring is very much about pastels here :) However I have something in a more natural colour scheme for those of you that are not so much into the nursery style (will post tomorrow)... I have listed a couple of Springy house ornaments in the shop too. I've been making a bunch for Janet's little gallery, so inspiring! My next project will be to make some soft boats for her. Here is my inspiration:
There is also some laundry to take care of, I wish there was a Cath Kidston shop nearby, I'm sure I would be thrilled to do some housework if I had something like this in the my laundry room. It is even eco friendly!

I love the pillow with your adorable little house. I love houses too. I used to have a collection but I gave it away when I moved.
I just spent a lot of time on a linocut of a house and it just doesn't print well. I think it's the ink. I used to use oil base and now I can only find waterbase paint in our stores. Oh, well...
I love the link to Janet that you shared. I never got any further yesterday after I found her website. I can't wait to see your little boats... I can almost picture the way they'll look.
I'm working on a window, shutters, and windowbox right now... overflowing with flowers (to give me an opportunity to practice my embroidery stitches. I'll post it on Monday.
Whoops... I took up a lot of space, but that's because I'd love to sit doen and have a cup of tea with you and chat.
Hugs to you!
