Hello my name is stupid

I broke my camera! Left it on the floor during a photo session and accidentally kicked it. And obviously destroyed the zoom and lens thing. No kids involved. Just me. HOW CAN I BE SO DAMN STUPID? Just when we have a huuuge car bill to pay. And just when I got my shop up and running again. Does this mean that I can buy a new and better camera now?

The picture is from my kids drawing corner in the living room and has nothing to do with the accident. When we moved to this apartment I decided to try to furnish our home after our needs and what we actually do at home. One thing was the issue with the crayons and drawings that used to live on our dinner table. So they got this table next to my sewing corner. We also have room for a sofa and a tv, an armchair, a play kitchen and a bookshelf. So this really is a family room. You can make a lot of a small space. It's just a matter of organizing an being open for solutions out of the ordinary. Damn camera.

Oh dear, that sounds like something I would do. In fact, Just dropped my husband's video recorder in an attempt to keep it from the kids. I think the kids would have done less damage.
I love the shelf above the table. I'm going to have to remember that one.

Sorry about your camera! That really sucks.

Your children's corner is a great idea.

Thanks for posting this little drawing area. I love how bright, happy, and airy it is. My poor kids have a place to draw but don't get to very much because I have to hide the crayons from our crayon-eating little guy. Ugh!

Sorry about your camera. I hate when stuff like that happens! :(

I'm so sorry about the camera. Maybe it a sign that your shop is going to do REALLY well and you'll be able to buy the best camera out there. I love the little drawing corner.

Kajsa, this is such bad luck! Aren’t we all getting used to having a camera available! I hope you will solve the problem and I love the kids drawing corner!

Don't feel bad I did the same thing! And I had only had my camera one year, and I loved it!

I recommend a Canon point and shoot - they are really the best value and take the best pictures (in my opinion) :)

How annoying! Sorry to hear about the camera! There are a lot of good ones out there at the moment - check out Amazon - they seem to have good prices!

I love the fact that you thought about how you use your home before you furnished it - and I love the kids drawing table - we used to do it at the kitchen work surface when we were kids!

OH NO! No wonder I have not seen any amazing new tea quilt & pillow pictures for a couple days! I guess the good thing is that you probably have way more time to sew now that you are not busy taking photos of your work and uploading them! ;o)

I hope you can get a new (and better!) camera very soon... Accidents happen but it is an important tool for us online crafters, for without photos we can not sell anything!!! I think you will just HAVE to go get one soon!

.....Cars aren't important, are they?!?!? (I don't drive!)

ohh noooo!See, I'd just blame the kids anyway. even if they weren't there, I'd blame them for making me tired and clumsy!!

I love how you don't have too many drawings and papers. My kids have drawn on so many bits of paper and they insist on keeping ALL of it.

Oh! I'm so sorry for this accident!! There is always a reason for this kind of things....(maybe you should have a new one!)

That really stinks about the camera. You use the camera enough, in my opinion, to justify it being a necessity. You use it for your shop, so it is also part of your job. :0) Get one.
