Interactive project stage 6

I started an Interactive blog project in July 07 and it is still going on, even if the progress is slow. However I decided not to apologise for being so slow, my intention was never to compete with McDonalds :) The winning suggestion for the sixth round was given by seemownay, she said (back in February): I would love to see a blooming meadow. Today was the day to follow through with the assignment. Hope you like it! Here comes the rules if you want to join in for round 7/10:

I will:
1. wait until I have got (at least) ten suggestions for the next motive
2. draw one of them
3. do my best to do as you wish using fabric and thread (and buttons?)
4. go through 10 stages
5. draw a winner among all the people who has come with one of the ten first suggestions at any stage. This person will win the finished piece of art work.

Feel free to join in! You can see the whole process in my flickr. To be continued....

I want to know what she is thinking about, or singing, or saying... !

It's looking lovely Kajsa.
I agree - she needs a speech bubble or a thought bubble.

Perhaps she could be thinking 'hmm what should I make next?'

Hi Kajsa - it's lovely to see your interactive project again - she was how I first found your blog after seeing her mentioned on someone else's blog. I was going to suggest a butterfly but having seen Emily and Monda's suggestions I have to agree with them! Lucy x

Until I read it properly I was wanting to see a mountain climber but now I get the plan I am suggesting perhaps some mountains in the background. Or maybe some other kind of outline background.

I am loving this work Kasja.

This is just getting better and better and better each time.
I would love to know what is going on in her head. So, a thought bubble is my suggestion too.

I would love to see her house far away, is it a farm, does she live in the city ?

Wonderful Kajsa. I still would love to see a Dutch black and white cow!

I could imagine a spider - with a tiny button body - climbing down in it's web hanging from the leg of the bird in the middle!

I think she needs a companion - a little brother or a pet dog...

Ah!
I would just love to see flying umbrellas, as if the wind to them.

Also I am having a little scrap swap on my blog you might like, or not ^-^

lastly, I have a cold and have been wearing the scarf I bought from you non-stop. I still love it!

Thanks for choosing my idea. I can still remember, yet I didn't know that it was February. Time flies by so quickly.

Hello!
I'm so glad to see your interactive project again! It's lovely.
I would love to see some sheep, or an old barn in the background (or both!).

PS I thought I had posted a comment last night, but apparently it didn't work...:-(

through the cozy I'm here now :) fun how that works. this piece of art is beautiful. love the fabrics at the back of bike and the little sewing machine. maybe she made the birds in the sky with that machine. maybe you could make a trail of birds, slowly coming of her machine, to find their place in the sky.

but I like the black and white dutch cow idea as well, of course ;)

I would like to see a horizon line with perhaps a little home back there. Something telling the viewer where she has been or is traveling to. This is fun, very cool idea :)

I would love to see a mountai

I agree with the people who thought that a background (like a mountain or forest or... something low-key) would be nice to fill in that middle area. Something muted to fill the space but not in a way that would take away from the beauty and focus of what you've already created. What a great project! I wish I had more readers so I could do something like this.

I still love this project so much! I'm still rooting for a dog (even if it's not a schnauzer). :-)

I think she needs (as all little girls do) a cute little kitten or puppy. Maybe they could be chasing a butterfly.

I had forgotten about this prject of yours. It's great to see it back in action! You did a great job with all the suggestions so far!

I am pretty sure those birds need a bird bath to have fun in!

Oh but a quilt shop in the background would be nice too!!!

Kajsa,

This is just so adorable. I think the little girl is on her way to her sewing club.
I like the idea about the mountains or the rainbow.
