Sad

The fair was a success, I sold well, people were happy and it was not raining. The rain is in my heart today. A friend of mine has passed away. She died from cancer at the age of 31. Her girl just turned three. It is all too sad and unfair. This is how she chose to announce her departure in the paper, I think it's beautiful:

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away
into the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
that we still are.

Oh...I'm really sorry for your loss. Your friend was my age! I lost my mother when I was 3years old and I (still) miss her a lot. Life is really hard sometimes...
On another note, I loved your angels on your stand :)

Kaunis "runo"!

Elämä on... joskus iloa... joskus surua.

The stall looks fabulous, as do all of your goodies.

I'm so sad for the loss of your friend. Cancer is a very cruel disease and has taken too many beautiful people before their time.

I wish her and her family and friends peace x

Really sorry about your loss, and thinking of your friend's small child. Cancer is a terrible thing.

Congratulations for you success at the Market, although now it doesn't seem important at all.

Best wishes.

I'm also sad today.
I just heard that a 12-year old boy was killed in a quad bike accident at the weekend.
His sister is in my son's class and I am friendly with the mother.
How do you explain that to a 5-year old?
Life can be shit sometimes.
xx

I am very sorry to hear about the loss. Strange how these things mostly happen with fall season.
The poem is very beautiful, indeed.
