Stage 1 completed

It was great to come home after a busy week (I was a bride's maid at my best friend's wedding!) to complete stage 1 of the interactive project. Of course I drew one of the yikes, life in yonder's suggestion "a girl like you with a sewing machine". But I must say it was quite a relief I did not happen to pick the Schnauzer Anina suggested... That sounded really hard. So the girl is ready. I hope you like her, I placed her in the left corner of the white background piece. Now I would like to have ten more suggestions please!

Well then, how about a bunch of pretty wildflowers?

I really would like a tortoiseshell cat. What a great idea, this project!

oooh I like her- she reminds me a little of the embroidery of my niece that I've done, she has the same kind of hair. I would love to see a tree (who says you can't sew outside!)

I spotted her on Flickr and had to come check it all out. I really like her. maybe she could have a child unravelling things beside her - that's what always seems to happen to me when I'm sewing!

Hi Kajsa! I am flattered that you liked the idea and used it. AND "A girl like you" turned out so cool!!! I can't wait to see what next you will make from the ideas you have received.

cool, much better watching someone else do it! It's scary isn't it? Picking out the topics... you hope to get certain ones, but then the one's you don't want can come out in a surprising way :)
